Editorial Policy

This page explains how content gets onto EVPunjab — including where AI is involved and where it isn’t the final word.

Original value, not rewritten sources

We don’t scrape competitor articles and lightly rewrite them. Published content is expected to add explanation, comparison, local (Punjab/India) context, or calculation that the source material didn’t already provide.

Sourcing

Facts are ranked by source quality: official government or manufacturer sources first, then established journalism and industry publications, with community reports treated as leads to verify rather than facts to publish directly. See Sources & Data for the full hierarchy.

Where AI is involved

We use AI to help with research summarization, first drafts, and structuring content (headings, FAQ candidates, internal-link suggestions). AI is treated as an assistant, not a source of truth:

• AI-assisted drafts are never published automatically.
• Every draft is reviewed by a person before publication, checked for factual accuracy, originality, and tone.
• We don’t let AI invent statistics, prices, specifications, quotes, reviews, or personal experience narratives.
• We don’t let AI rank or favor a specific brand or model.

What we don’t do

• No fake reviews, ratings, or testimonials.
• No invented prices, specifications, or availability claims.
• No bypassing robots.txt, paywalls, CAPTCHAs or access controls to gather information.
