Overview
The Activa e: is the electric version of Honda's Activa — by far India's best-selling scooter nameplate in petrol form for decades — now reimagined as an EV with a dual swappable-battery system.
Both batteries can be removed individually and charged wherever's convenient (home, office) rather than needing to plug the whole scooter in, which is the Activa e:'s main practical differentiator. It runs a 6 kW motor for a claimed top speed of about 80 km/h. Honda's own battery-swap network (branded Honda Power Pack Energy) is still limited to a handful of cities, so the swappable design is more useful for home charging today than for public swap stations.
