Overview
The XUV400 was Mahindra's first modern electric car, launched ahead of the newer BE 6/XEV 9e/XEV 9S generation — the electric version of the XUV300 compact SUV, and still the most affordable EV in Mahindra's current lineup.
It carries a 39.4 kWh battery for a claimed range of 456 km, and supports DC fast charging up to 50 kW. Range figures above are claimed, test-cycle numbers, not a guaranteed real-world figure — see real-world vs claimed range for why the two differ.
