Overview
The Hector Tomahawk EV is MG's newest and largest electric SUV in India, launched in August 2026 — the electric version of MG's Hector, available in both 5-seat and 7-seat configurations, which is unusual among the EVs on this site (most are 5-seat only).
It carries a 69.2 kWh battery driving a 204 hp, 310 Nm motor, for a claimed range of up to about 517 km. MG also markets it as India's first electric car with vehicle-to-home (V2H) charging support — the ability to use the car's battery to power a home during an outage, not just charge from the grid.
